My Experiences with Moving Coil Cartridges and Step Up Transformers (SUT) from Bob’s Devices.
Over the past four years I transitioned from Moving Magnet (MM) to Moving Coil (MC) cartridges on my turntable(s). I discuss the Stanton 681 EEE, Denon DL103r and Dynavector 20x2L cartridges I have used. I also talk about my Luxman C1000 solid state preamplifier as related to the output of my various cartridges. I show and discuss two Step Up Transformers (SUT) that I have purchased from Bob’s Devices. My exploration into using MC carts with a SUT has improved my listening experience tremendously. I am very impressed with the SUTs from Bob’s Devices.
