Hello everyone welcome to Travelzilla, please join me on a tour of PORTO ALEGRE AIRPORT, FRPORT's airport in Brazil. Porto Alegre is home to the 5th largest metropolitan area in Brazil, it is the caputal of Brazil's southernmost state, RIO GRANDE DO SUL, the airport is administered by FRAPORT (FRANKFURT AIRPORT). This part of Brazil is very influenced by German culture so it makes sense that FRAPORT is well represented here.
We will land in Porto Alegre via 2 distinct flights from 2 different airports in SAO PAULO CITY to Porto Alegre. You'll find out what it is like landing in PORTO ALEGRE, we will tour arrivals, talk about how to get fro the airport to the city center and how to get to the SERRA GAUCHA mountains where the cities of GRAMADO AND CANELA are located. I will give you a snippet of NATAL LUZ, Brazil's largest Christmas celebrations and more.

Afeter we tour the airport via ARRIVALS we will tour departures here in PORTO ALEGRE. We will explore what's like checking in here at SALGADO FILHO AIRPORT. In the meantime I will explain a little bit about Porto Alegre's airport history and background info, stats, numbers, so on and so forth.

I will tour departures starting from the airport's food court, where a lot of famous international fast food restaurants and cafés as well as shops are located. Porto Alegre is the capital of a state known to be the home of Brazil's best barbecue aka CHURRASCO, take advantage of it you guys!
