This is a quick guide and summary of my experience with LBC Express for air delivery of my package to my family in Manila. This happened during the business shutdowns here in California starting on March 20, 2020. LBC US Branches along with other Balikbayan Box companies were closed until June.
LBC opened up for package pick up by appointment on mid May. Due to the high demands of door to door pick up, some reservations were 2-3 weeks out.

I sent out to my family COVID PPE protection such as disposable and reusable masks.

Once my small box was picked up by LBC. It took 10 days, between June 13-June 24 from pick up to delivery for it to reach Manila. I noticed that my package was in another country for 2 days due to a layover by the airline used by LBC to deliver packages.

The LBC rep that picked up my box followed all social distancing and protection measures to ensure their employees and customers safety.

As of this videos posting in July 2020, most LBC branches has resumed operations for Balikbayan box drop off both for sea and air cargo. However office hours are subject to change depending on US government changes in shutdowns depending on the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.
