September 10, 2024 - Martin's Valley Tract (Tiny Township, ON, Canada)
While hiking I encountered this unusual "phenomena". Not sure if it's tiny little spiders or seeds mimicking spiders! There was no breeze while I hiked past this branch and that's why the motion caught my eye. I spotted a similar branch a little later in the hike as well. I look forward to learning more about what this might be from your comments below. Many thanks to my friend Stefan Weber on Facebook for correctly helping me identify this "motion". It is indeed Wooly Aphids or Boogie Woogie Aphids!
