In this video, I show you the first 3 steps: Preparing the package, cutting and sorting the colors, in order to create 4 small paintings in 4 different colors with geometric shapes.
“Boulle” marquetry is a superimposed cutting technique.
All veneers are layered in one bundle. Then, we cut the whole thing with a scroll saw with a very thin blade.
After cutting, we obtain a number of elements equivalent to the number of materials used.
