In this video, I’ll show you how to replace the iPhone 16 battery and share my custom back glass color change! 🛠️ All tools used are listed below. Important Note: After replacing the battery, the “battery health” message will still show unless you buy the part from Apple’s service repair website, which I’ll link below.

🔔 Altered Content Alert:
I reseated the OEM battery instead of fully replacing it, as the battery health didn’t show during testing from the other iPhone 16 I had. However, this guide will still help you with the steps if you're planning to replace the battery yourself!

🎨 Custom Back Glass Color Change:
I did a custom back glass color change in this video, which was paired to the same Apple ID. Though the battery failed to pair, I loved the two-tone color on the phone! I was able to pair the new back glass to the phone without any issues.

Originally I tried to do this video with a makeshift 5v charger alligator clip combo with a USB wall charger but it did not work it has to be 9volts-12volts to get the battery out correctly. I was hoping to provide the average Joe with a tool that could get the battery out at a low cost for a tool used only one time.
