It was our first day in Bali on our honeymoon and my husband and I woke up at 2 to catch sunrise on top of Mt. Batur. Mt Batur is an active volcano and so I was a little nervous but the hike was incredible. It took us two hours to get up, and at the top it was still dark. Our guide cooked us eggs on the steam from the volcano while we watched as the colours in the ski changed and the sun rose. It was a pretty magical moment to say the least. I put together a little video for you of the experience.

Once we are allowed to travel again I would highly recommend this experience. We booked with Bali Sunrise trekking. The driver and guide were so kind and we truly had the most amazing time.
