Have you ever wondered what tunes to learn next, or what some good tunes to learn might be for your local jam? Have you struggled to listen through old recordings that are hard to learn from? Tristan Scroggins and I are super excited to announce the public release of The Old Time 💯 - Vol. 1 which features the first 20 tunes from our mammoth recording session of 100 of the most common jam friendly old time tunes. This release is primarily educational in it's function and purpose, (although these track sound really great we think!) to be paired with video content, written transcriptions and the remaining 80 tracks which are available on our patreon pages linked below. For fiddle centric content head to George's, for Mandolin content head to Tristan's.

Excited to start bringing you these overhead camera videos from the Oldtime 100 recording sessions. (Secretly we did the recordings in two days, the first day we got a head start starting after dinner to get the first 15 or so under our belt to make the marathon on day two just a little more in the realm of possibility).

Here's the first of the overhead cam shots synced with the mastered track. This should help you get a view on how I'm using my bow, and where I'm putting my fingers if you're looking to learn the tune. I have videos like this for all 100 tunes and I think almost all of them will be useful for those of you looking to learn some of these tunes or look at how I might be using my bow or left hand.
