Co Ra parish is located in Co Ra village, Nam Hung commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province, to the north by Hong Quang parish, to the west by Truc Chinh.

When he realized that the needs of parishioners were increasing day by day, in the 1900s, Father Eugienio Andres Kien was the parish priest of Bao Da, he built a new, larger and more spacious church to meet the needs. of the laity. This is the second church of the Co Ra church. Unfortunately, this church has been demolished to rebuild a new church for the third time.

In 1925, on the occasion of visiting the parishes of Tuong Nam - Bach Tinh - Bao Dap, Bishop Romundo Trung OP, bishop of Trung diocese, issued a decree separating the surnames Co Ra, Ky Na, Hau Phu, and Roc Tien... He left the land of Bao Dap to establish a new parish called Tan Binh, the meaning of the two words "Tan Binh" according to Bishop Trung means a peaceful new land.

Among the children of Bao Dap's mother parish, Tan Binh is the eldest brother, followed by e, Nam Duong, Truc Chinh, La Dien, Khoai Dong and Phong Loc. In 1997, when he noticed the surname Hau Phu on As the growth grew, the late Bishop Joseph Vu Duy Nhat promoted the Hau Phu church to a parish and changed its name to Hong Quang parish, accepting Saint Vincent as patron, so Co Ra went to the motherland, it was an honor. great attendance and pride of the parish
