Had a few minor issues finishing up the roof framing and a few little details to work out, but got it done in the end. I'm really happy with how it has turned out and love finally seeing the "popup" in action. Also put the hinge on that holds the popup section to the main body and it seems to keep everything lined up pretty well.

So I decided it was time to see just how well it will handle some off road driving conditions. Drove around my fields for a bit and other than some low branches, everything seems to be holding up well. Should be even better once I get the fiberglass on.

I've been told I can't leave until after Father's Day but honestly, I don't think that will be an issue. Still a lot to do before I can hit the road. But I might just camp out in the field for fun sometime soon.

Next up is skinning the roof and then it is pretty much time for fiberglass prep.

Stay tuned and hope for the best.

Thanks for watching.
