Race 13 of the CARS Tour season brought us to America’s favorite bullring wake County Speedway and the racing sure did live up to its name. We saw a fantastic race around the quarter mile with Brent Crews dominating the first 100+ laps of the race on for it to get taken away in the closing laps by his own teammate Landen Lewis an overzealous move by Lewis indeed with Brent being stuck on the outside of three wide and end the three wall ruining the points contenders hopes at a victory. Speaking of the championship battle it’s just heating up. Butterbean has closed within five points of Connor Hall. Heading into Florence but as big as the points battle is, maybe the biggest story or the names of faces will see down in South Carolina as Dale Earnhardt Jr and Kevin Harvick enter the fray. Also, entering the fray or should I say re-entering the fray it’s the F45 Hoosier tire, making its triumphant return to Florence motor Speedway the tire throws a huge wrench in the preparation for this weekend’s race. It should be fun to watch.
