The American Montessori Society has identified eight unique outcomes that children should achieve as a result of an authentic Montessori education. What are these outcomes and what do they look like behaviorally in a Toddler, Early Childhood, or Elementary classroom? A classroom observation tool will be shared which can be used by teachers and administrators to assess if children are demonstrating these important outcomes. The types of data that can be gained will be presented with an exploration of uses for program assessment, staff development, and continuous school improvement.
