This video is the final tour of a modern cabin that I completed acting as my own general contractor. The cabin is a high grade and high performance build, offering high energy savings and little maintenance. The materials and products used include:

ICF, concrete, 26 gauge metal wall and roofing, gravel (for backfill), composite trex decking, ducted mini split, cable rails, low e energy efficient windows, zip system sheathing, fiber cement siding and soffit paneling, painted pvc entrance, and gas tankless water heater.

As the GC, I managed all aspects of design, permitting, and construction. I also sourced my own materials and completed several DYI projects. In the end I believe I saved approximately 20% off the total cost.
