In this video, I show you what we typically eat for breakfast and lunch while we are tent camping. We rotate between a few meals for each for simplicity.

✦ Here are some dinner ideas (I serve these along with a veggie that is either frozen peas, frozen corn, or canned green beans, typically):
1) Rotisserie Chicken from Costco (pre cut-up and frozen) & Instant Mashed Potatoes (I typically do this on our first night as it's simple and I don't feel like doing much after setting up camp)
2) Pre-cooked sausages & instant mashed potatoes (from Costco)
3) Spaghetti & Meatballs
4) Tacos/Burritos
5) Tri-Tip & Rice or Instant Mashed Potatoes
6) Freeze-Dried Meals (I've gotten these at Costco and bring up a few)
7) Hot Dogs and Chili (my kids are finally old enough to roast their own hot dogs over the fire and they enjoy doing it so this is actually a newer one for us)
Other Tips: I will also repeat meals if we're there for a while and I sometimes have enough to do leftovers on a night. I also try to bring up a meal that is completely canned so that if something happens (like we're out late from a hike and pick up dinner on the way back) we can always take the canned food back home with us and it wouldn't have gone bad.
