It springs in Bastas, about five kilometers northwest of Drvar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The source of Bastašica, which is surrounded by high, vertical rocks, is protected as a geomorphological monument of nature. There are several waterfalls near the spring. It flows into Unac after a short course, about one kilometer long.
The river is rich in brown trout.
By the way, whoever is counting on taking a bath at the spring, should know that the spring is as cold as ice :-)
