This story captures how the Deputy Mayor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Ms. Manjulata Kanhar supported TB Champion Laxmi Maharana in reducing the stigma associated with TB. She has been constantly extending her support in the field activities. She has come forward to provide nutritional support for the people with TB and has conducted home visits to provide counselling on quitting tobacco/alcohol.
