Today I show you how to replace your front brake pads on a 2012 BMW X5 chassis code E70. However! the same procedure applies to bulk of BMW cars and even other brands. Rear brake pads might be different due to electronic parking brake which has a specific procedure maybe one day I can show you that.

Anyways, if you are changing brake rotors too then that is an extra easy step which is removing the bracket that holds the caliper in place which I show that in the video as well.

Tools required is Allen socket size 7 and a ratchet. I prefer a short ratchet and then attach a wrench to it (I show you how in the video) as it works better in smaller spaces.
