We wanted to talk about something we felt was important and wanted to document for ourselves to reflect on in the future.
Stepping up as first year registrars in our chosen specialty has been so rewarding but stressful. It can be so easy to get caught up with service delivery with the pressures of under-resourced and short staffed units.
We wanted to remind ourselves that our ability to heal is a privilege, and a ability that relies on trust and rapport.

These are just some musings and there are definitely many other factors that go into being a good doctor.
