This is my first drive in the two-seater fully electric Renault Twizy, in Lagoon Blue. It’s known as a quadricycle and has a lithium-iron battery with 17bhp and 57Nm. Launching 0-28 mph takes just 6.1 secs and has a top speed of 50 mph. The base price (when tested) started at £12,695 and the model tested with a few add-ons was £13,725. Now that’s what I call a bargain for a car (ahem) quadricylce that’ll get you more looks than a Ferrari.

I'd highly recommend testing, buying or even renting one out for the day. It’s very entertaining to drive, and as you could tell, it put many smiles on my face and it’s bound to do that no matter if you’re the driver or the passenger behind.
