This week we're taking a day trip to Oatman Arizona, once a thriving gold mining town on the original National Old Trails Road part of which became Route 66.
We visited the famous hotel where it's claimed Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent the night and Kevin got locked in a punishment cell.

Oatman is a working ghost town and it's well worth a visit as you make you way from Chicago to LA.
