In this video we practice taking our bearings with 3 visible points on the map. We are practicing for ASA test 104 and this step-by-step process shows each student taking their time to find the bearings - chart the bearings with the handy dandy Weems and Plath $120 rolling plotter that is sooooo much easier than a parallel rule. We then find ourselves in the middle of the triangle or "cocked hat" - we then double-check ourselves with the GPS to see how close or far we are!!!!!
