With the Shelly Plus 1, the SOMFY KEASY L or XL garage door drive can be easily controlled via WiFi and a connected opening detector signals whether the door is closed.

The gate operator supplies the Shelly with 28 VDC. No power supply unit is required and the installation is not critical in terms of protection against accidental contact.

This first part shows the installation of Shelly and opening detector and its configuration. This already allows operation via the Shelly web interface. The second part shows the integration into Home Assistant.
