Indian Railways' South Western Railway(SWR) zone has upgraded the Yesvantpur Railway station in Bengaluru which is sporting a new look with its all illuminated new entry and other modernised passenger amenities done as per the standards of the airport, including the circulating area illumination. This modernisation project has been undertaken at an approximate cost of around Rs. 12 crores.

ನೈಋುತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸದರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಮೂರು ರೈಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲಾ ಎರಡು ವಿಸ್ಟಾಡೋಮ್‌ ಕೋಚ್‌ ಅಳವಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಜು.7ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಈ ವಿಸ್ಟಾಡೋಮ್‌ ಕೋಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಘಟ್ಟಗಳ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ರಮಣೀಯ ಸಿರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

The Indian Railway's South Western Railway (SWR) has attached Vistadome coaches to express trains running between Yeshwantpur (in Bengaluru) to Mangaluru junction stations, from July 11 onwards. This pilot project offers passengers a first-hand glimpse of the breathtaking beauty of the pristine Western Ghats.
Besides providing the best views, this additional coach will offer comfort and luxury at its best. It will have 40 reclining seats that can revolve 360 degrees for a comfortable journey. The fare is similar to the charges of the executive class of Shatabdi of the Indian Railways.
