On September 14th, my 'Welcome to My Dong' map at Domansa Gallery in Seongsu was vandalized. In the middle of the night, a man and woman walked in and defaced the map with paint and crayon—a map that has become a centerpiece of my 'Welcome to My Dong' series. Before I could even share my side, the Korean media picked up the story. Now, here’s my account of what really happened.

9월 14일, 성수 도만사 갤러리에서 '웰컴 투 마이 동' 프로젝트의 중심이 되는 서울 지도가 훼손되었습니다. 한밤중에 한 남녀가 들어와 페인트와 색연필로 지도에 낙서를 했습니다. 제 이야기를 제대로 공유할 수 있기 전에 한국 언론에서 이 이야기가 퍼져서 직접 제가 여러분께 이 사건에 대해 알려드리고 싶었습니다.
