Hi everyone! Sorry I've been missing in action for so long. I'm finally back! Here's the recipe to that Shrimp Pelau I shared on Instagram and Snapchat a few weeks ago. For this recipe you'll need:
1 lb of shelled and de-veined shrimp, washed with lemon juice
salt
black pepper
1 1/2 tsps of lemon pepper
1 cup of green seasoning
1 1/2 tbsps grated ginger
a dash of soy sauce
a drizzle of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of ketchup or 1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/4 cup chinese celery, chopped
1/4 cup scallions or chive chopped
1 cup of pinto beans (half-boiled)
1 bell pepper/sweet pepper, chopped
8-10 pimento peppers, chopped
1-2 hot peppers, chopped
1 1/2 cups of parboiled rice
Grace or Maggi vegetable soup mix (*Optional)
1 1/2 tablespoons golden ray butter (*Optional)
2 carrots, chopped
1 can of coconut milk
1 cup of frozen whole kernel corn, or 1 can
