Anytime Veterans file a claim for compensation, the VA will send a decision letter when the VA Disability Claim decision has been made. Within that decision references tons of codes from 38 CFR, the reason the disability was awarded and more importantly, the reason the disability was denied. Knowing why the VA denied your VA Disability Claim will help you when filing an appeal. Knowing why the VA awarded your disability will let you know if you potentially rate an increase, or not.
