Ad Astra sees Major Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) traveling to the moon and Mars to reach out to his father Cliff (Tommy Lee Jones), who is currently in Neptune’s rings. Despite its grand scale, it’s an introspective journey about the relationship between a father and son, raising some pretty deep and harrowing questions by the ending.
