Sinhagad Fort has played a vital role in India's freedom struggle. Bal Gangadhar Tilak also known as 'The Father of Indian Unrest', used the fort as a summer retreat. It is here where Mahatma Gandhi after his return from South Africa had a historic meeting with Tilak. The bungalow has his bust at the entrance.

From the base, it takes around 1 1/2 hours to get to the top. The trek path is not very difficult and okay for amateur trekkers.

It opens at 3am aur 3pm k baad jane k liye mana kiya jata hai qki bht bada area cover krna padta h...kam se kam 250 stairs hain upar chadhne ko ... 🚌, 🚗, 🛵 se waha tk Aram se pohuncha ja sakta h...roads are safe...i hope you will enjoy it.🙏😌
