Won this house from the Detroit Land Bank. We purchased this property online before being able to actually see it. This is our journey.

PART 3

Demo is done, now we are officially rebuilding the house.
We reframed the kitchen walls & roof as well as the breakfast nook ceiling. We also are doing some roof work, only to get us through the winter. Next summer we will have the entire roof redone.
There was only a half bath upstairs which meant the entire family had to go downstairs to shower everyday. We demo'd the half bath and built a full-size bathroom.
We removed all of the old windows and replaced them with new double pane vinyl windows.

We found some old cabinets for $300, repainted them, added a backsplash to the kitchen & more.
