Saikai City declared its intention to become a “zero-carbon city” with the aim of achieving net-zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. To this end, they are engaging in activities such as promoting offshore wind power generation and other such renewable energy sources, and protecting its rich natural environment including forest resources.
 
Yukinoura Seaside Park, where Strange Reitaro performs, and the Yukinoura District of Saikai City engage in maintenance and conservation activities of forests, clear streams and coastal pine forests, so that its vast natural environment can be inherited to the next generation. Park cleanup activities are also carried out, as sea turtles come to lay eggs in the seaside park. The Zurich Insurance Group supports the district’s forest conservation activities.

Strange Reitaro
Born in Osaka, Strange began performing as the Strange Reitaro Travel Swing Orchestra in 2008. After disbanding, he became a member of TENSAI BAND II (ex-TENSAI BAND) and The Animations among others, before launching his solo career.
Strange garnered attention for singing on songs used in various TV commercials.
In 2017 he got his big break from a major label with his debut album “YOU ARE SEXY,” and in 2018 he released his sophomore album “More Music.”
In 2021, Strange released the mini album “Humming Bird” as well as “Song Book #1,” his first-ever covers album as a solo artist, from Victor Entertainment.
On Wednesday April 13, 2022 he released “Tamaranai Yokan,” his first full-length album in almost four years.
