Please note:
This Video is not a tutorial video. It is just recorded one of my morning practices.
If u are willing for one tutorial video or some help with this Qi gong, please contact me.
Hui Chun defines the concept of opening, beginning or the birth of new things as Spring does with Nature.Often practice can help the practitioner to calm the mind and learn how to concentrate in specific points on the body, understanding the Qi (energy) within or outside of the body and being able to guide it through it for a better flow. This action can also help nourish the organs and make the mind stronger and more clear.Through this one can understand the principal of balance and being able to apply it in daily life.
Importance of the standing structure is something that the practioner should give attention to it.
1) Standing with a natural stance and the legs in the same opening as the shoulders
2) Knees are slighlty bended which helps the pelvic area with a small intention to come forward so the gate of life Ming Men is more "open"
3) Chest is "empty" not to proud not to "dead". Completely natural.
4) Neck is straight by pushing the chin slighlty back to make the spine straight and the Bau Hui (highest point of the head) to have connection with the sky.
5) Feet are grounded well, but not heavy and with some small intention in the middle of the sole "touching" the ground more actively.
6) Arms are following each mundra or the exersice by being alive from shoulders to elbows and from elbows to palms. Mostly in a circular shape.
The nine Postures and Movements
Yi Shou Dantian – Mind sinks in Dantian
Bao Yuan Shou Yi – Embrace Infinity, keep the Oneness
Zhuan Dantian - Circle the Dantian
Hunyuan Yi Qi- Move with the cosmic circles together
Wuji Zhuang -State of Emptiness
Qian Kun Ban Yun - Connect heaven and earth
Hunyuan Zhuang – Cosmic Pillar
Bao Taiji – Embrace the Taiji
Shou Gong - Closing

A brief description of each step
1) Yi Shou Dantian
In this posture we start with the first mundra of the exersice (see pic) which we connect the 2 thumbs. The 2 thumbs define the internal and external self and bring them together in a concentration mindset and later on in long journey. All we need to do in the begining is to breath naturaly and then being able to come in harmony with our breath by following the 2 steps out of 4.
Breathing slowly - Breathing deeply. Then with the help and the guidance of the breath we try to keep the mind internaly where the hands are touching on the body (lower Dantian).
We keep doing that as long as we want but the purpose is to be able to keep the mind there with proper focus without being distracted by external factors or our random thoughts. When this is there it is a good sign of concentration. Don't be fooled that that's enough. It can always be longer or higher level.
2) Bao Yuan Shou Yi
In this position we engage the mind with the thought of "embracing the infinite"
By itself it's a long coversation with yourself that can "show" you a lot about the centuries that existed before you the ones that come the "concept of time" and of course the vast Cosmos.
It can be fun or not. Depends always from the mindset we observe things.Next we move to the next sentence which is "keeping the Oneness" which can lead as easily to the word One.This also by itself has a lot to show about your individuality and the connection with the Cosmos.
3)Zhuan Dantian
In this posture we start guiding the breath more consiously around the area of Dantian in a circular movement. At first we move the breath anticlockwise for some time and then clockwise. Then we could move in diffrent directions but this can come later. The basic idea is to be able to come in harmony with your breath and mind so u can "lead" the Qi on a specific way after u have a good conection is a specific place.Your Dantian.
4)Hun Yuan Yi Qi
After the above steps we are ready to move the Qi and make it flow together with your body in combination with the movements. When you inhale, rise up and when you exhale lower down, so you can first connect the breathing with the body movement. Then try every move to be accompanied with a Inhalation and the following move with Exhalation. We start with Inhale while we "leave" from the mundra and start moving according to the moving sequence.Flowing together with your Qi in harmony is a great start to be able to understand how to "flow through" life with motion like everything does with Nature. Obstacles are a part of life but it doesn't mean that they have to become a blockage.
5)Wu Ji
9)Shou Gong
Closing the exersice from the skies and the earth by bring your Qi back to you in a gentle respectfull way.Everything comes in abundance to you in the purest form. Wake up the body softly and without rush with some massage in keypoints. I could write down so many things in this but i will stay greatful that Dao has given this exersise to me and to all the people
who practice internal cultivation.
Be Well
