When you mow your leaves on the lawn, you can return some valuable organic material to your lawn. This is typically done by mulching the leaves. To save time when mowing the leaves on your lawn, it helps to know which direction your lawn mower blade spins. You can tell this by closely observing the way your grass lays when cut or more easily it will turn in the same direction that you tighten the deck bolt to fasten the blade (usually to the right). Knowing that the clippings will be discharged to the right and behind the mower, it makes sense to make progressive right-hand turns working from the outside towards the middle to more efficiently gather up those leaves.
