Approximately Spring 1985, Rev. Dr. E.V. Hill delivered one of the most powerful sermons that I have heard to date - Joseph's Seat. He ministered at Evangel Temple Church in Largo, MD where John Mears was the pastor and founder.

I was introduced to this sermon in Fall of 1992 by a campus ministry leader, Jerome Redmond. One of the best gifts that he could provide. I listen to this at least once a year. E.V. Hill's mix of humor, storytelling, and wisdom are an excellent combination while talking about the life of Joseph.

Sadly, Dr. Hill passed February 2003. May his preaching legacy continue.
