The Band of the Life Guards, Captain W. Jackson, conductor. This march commemorates a heroic action by the 93rd Regiment of Foot, (The Sutherland Highlanders), when it, along with some other troops, routed a charge by Russian cavalry at the Battle of Balaclava, Crimea on October 25, 1854.
