After having met and worked with Dr. Ralph Abernathy on a project, this was Diane Harvey's tribute to the civil rights activist upon his death April 17, 1990.
First published in the Peninsula Times Tribune in Palo Alto, California, April 1990 as "Free At Last", it was later published in Atlanta's Upscale Magazine as "Abernaathy's Heavenly Reunion".
