The Volt 1000 is a black diamond.

Powerful, high balance, high sweet spot, medium-hard. A total cannon.

I don’t find it uncomfortable. But I did find it difficult to control the ball.

This is a review of the most powerful racket I’ve ever played with.

Intro

Ok today we’re going to break down our discussion into: price, specs, court sensations, and my final recs.

Price

To begin with the price, Volt did send this racket to me for free to review, and they’ve shared a 10% discount with you guys.

That being said this is a top of the line racket at the top of the price range, it retails for €295, and with 10% off, you’ll be paying around €270.

Note that along with all Volt rackets, you’ll receive the racket packaged with a nice cushioned racket case with a shoulder strap and small pockets as well as an adhesive protector.

They have a try before you buy program where you can test the rack for a week and that amount is a

They also offer selection of weight in 5g increments, which if you’ve watched the channel before you know i appreciate.

Specs

- Weight 350-370 (367)
- Handle 15cm
- Bridge
- Surface: 12k carbon, with a little bit of roughness, reminds me of a Metalbone
- EVA: medium density, “Fast recovery Black Eva Core”
- Balance natural: 27.5 with an over grip to 27.3

Sensations
- High balance: in the back of the court, you’ll feel the heavy head slowing you down slightly, maybe your racket isn’t at the right angle, ready for the ball yet and due to it’s relatively reactive core, you’ll shoot the ball out at an unexpected angle.
- at the net, or simply you’ll be late to block a ball at the net. it takes some getting used to. but when you have time at the net, there is more than a small amount of extra push. the balls are easy to make them come back to your side, the power is a lot. it reminded me
- Sweet spot
- the sweet spot is super super high and not very big.
- maybe the sweet spot isn’t even that small but it’s just sooo high that i felt like i was constantly on a mission to find it further and further towards the frame of the racket.
- I felt like i was trying to hit the ball with the tip of the racket, which was fun for training, like a little game of searching for the sweet spot, almost like i was playing with one of those wooden spoon shaped training rackets that make you focus on finding the sweet spot. but during matches i found the high sweet spot annoying
- Hardness
- when you hold this racket in your hand, it feels hard, but when you start playing with it in the court, the ball soars as if your racket was softer. the high balance shoots the ball more than you expect, and while adjusting to it, youll be shooting balls into the glass.
- i was surprised by this, i expected it to feel harder than it did after researching and reading the reviews. it’s also the same core as the Volt 800, which I review here, but the 800 has a harder surface (3k carbon fiber instead of 12k), which you can feel immediately.

Final recs
I don’t recommend this racket for beginners, i dont recommend this for intermediates, i recommend this for powerful players who are better than me.

players who play in the cold, or want somewhat reactive core, this racket feels less hard in the court than it is because the power that its high balance generates.

Players looking into the head extreme pro or delta pro, should consider this. I’d say they are quite similar with the Volt’s balance slightly higher but slightly lighter.
