She arrives at the interview without entourage in a Dubai taxi. Simple, elegant and hardworking, playback singer and reality show judge, Neeti Mohan started her musical journey from Channel V’s talent show, Popstars, and went on to become one of the most recognised voices in Bollywood. Debuting in 'Student of the Year,' Neeti always looked up to AR Rahman and went on to sing for him too. She grew up listening to Lataji, Ashaji, Kishore Kumar, Mohmd. Rafi and Abida Parveen and from her contemporaries, it is Arijit, Harshdeep and Jonita. In music directors, she has enjoyed working with AR Rahman, Vishal-Shekhar, Pritam & Salim-Sulaiman. She received the Golden Visa in Dubai and aims to perform here more often in solo concerts and with her sisters who are performers too and call themselves the Mohan sisters!
