I made one of these videos last year about the removal of love bugs on my GT3 RS. Some people didn't like how long the previous video was, so I tried to make this one a little shorter (10 minutes shorter).

Since my last video, I've learned more about love bugs & why they destroy your paint. I was a guest on NPR radio with a UF Professor and environmentalist and they said it's believed that the enzymes in their blood cause paint etching. The best way to start this removal process is to wash your car before you start trying to hammer away at removing the bugs: the less dirty the car is, the better. After a good wash use something like a drying aid, detail spray or ONR type product to clean up the rest of the bugs. What's really going to help assist you in cleaning off bugs will be a wax, sealant or coating.
