No 4
Aftermarket exhaust system. A good system saves a lot of weight and gives more power. At the moment I’ve there are Zard headers of a race system and an Arrow muffler of a Speed Triple 1050.

No 3 Triumph Street Triple 675 Mods
DNA air filter. The DNA air filter does have a much better flow than the stock air filter. It’s reusable, easy to clean and does a good job in filtering the air. The DNA air filter for Triumph Street 675 does filter all the dust and particles

No 2 Triumph Street Triple 675 Mods
Get rid of the air intake restrictor. It’s only purpose is to reduce intake noise. Getting rid of it does give some extra hp at the top.

No 1 Triumph Street Triple 675 Mods
Get a new tune. Make sure you go to a good tuner, so you are sure you really do get a great tune. A new tune can be made by Tune-ECU and with a Power Commander. When starting out tuning the Triumph Street Triple 675 few tunes where made with Tune ECU. Last tune was made by Timo Pajic of Pajic R&D using Power Commander. Timo has done a great job. No snatchiness at all, the bike does run great with this tune.

Bonus Triumph Street Triple 675 Mod
Change the front sprocket to 15 teeth (normally 16 teeth). When changing to 15 teeth the bike pulls amazing. Best mod performance wise. Easy to do. And cheap.

Of course more Triumph Street Triple 675 Mods for better performance can be done. But this was my top 4 (+1).

Another performance Triumph Street Triple 675 Mod for better performance that is done, is changing the inlet cam for a Daytona 675 inlet cam.
Pro: more top end power
Con’s: less midrange and costs.

A lithium battery is good for this, and relative one of the cheap Triumph Street Triple 675 Modifications. However, when temperature drops it does produce less power. And because I was not sure what the temperatures would be during my trip I have stored the lithium battery and now use a regular battery.

Changing the rear wheel sprocket for an aluminum sprocket is a good Triumph Street Triple 675 Modification. Do this when you need to replace your chain and sprockets.

Titanium bolt are a way to save weight. My Triumph Street Triple 675 Mod for this are titanium brake rotor bolts in the front wheel.

Cheapest way to save weight of your Triumph Street Triple 675 is to get rid of the passenger pegs. Doesn’t cost anything and saves 1,38 kg if I do remember well.
