A video describing our challenges in planning a Boundary Waters Canoe trip. Our trip lasted 4 days and we planned a base camp style trip. Since it was our first time in the Boundary Waters we wanted to see how fast we could canoe, set up camp and portage before we planned a trip involving travel.

First night we stayed in Grand Marais and connected with our outfitter 'way of the wilderness'. There we rented canoes, paddles and purchased our permit. We had a great time on this trip and we will definitely come back next year.
