~Introduction~
In 1923, a route was established by the Yebisu Ridesharing Company to connect Ebisu and Tamachi. This is the basis of the Tamachi No.87 line. After being acquired by the Tokyo-Yokohama Electric Railway (now part of the Tokyu Group) in 1929, under the Land Transportation Business Adjustment Law, the bus routes running inside the Yamanote Line were centralized by the City of Tokyo. It was handed over to Tokyo City on February 1, 1942. It was named "Line 1," the top numbered bus line in Tokyo City. Since then, there have been no route changes, and we are up to the present.
There are many business towers and residential areas along the line, as well as research facilities such as Kitasato Research Institute, educational facilities such as Kitasato University, Sacred Heart School, and Keio University.
In addition, there are many business towers and residential areas, so the bus runs every 7 to 10 minutes.
