RUMINATIONS: Ugh, this is one of those comics that makes you really feel dirty after you’ve read it. It’s also one where you’re utterly baffled as to WHY it got made and who was the one who approved it. At some point in the future I’m going to have to talk about John Byrne, it’s just that like many other controversial creators, the amount of bad they put out is not quite as sizeable as their good stuff... it's just they're also kind of an asshat. These two issues of Action Comics are pretty infamous, though, which is why it was a good time to talk about them. My statements in the episode still stand in regards to rape in fiction and how often it’s used. Now if you want to try to argue about the merits of using it versus murder or assault, you’re entitled to your opinion.

Yeah, the comments section for this one’s going to be fun. Or, you know, if you don’t agree you can just roll your eyes and just watch a silly review of an awful comic.
