How to Install the Atlas Headrest on a Herman Miller Aeron Chair.
1. Take the bracket assembly and attach it to the back of the Aeron’s frame. There are some bumps underneath the inside of the frame to help with center alignment.
2. Tighten down the metal clamp plate underneath the bracket assembly to secure it to the chair’s frame.
3. Next, take the headrest and secure it to the top of the bracket using two of the provided screws. There is a directional arrow on the headrest to show what way is up when mounting. Tighten these screws down with the Allen wrench.
4. Lastly, place the plastic cover over the back of the headrest to cover those screws. Then, secure the cover with the final screw. Make sure to tighten this screw and the metal plate’s screw under the bracket all the way to finish installation.

Adjusting the Atlas Headrest.
1. Adjusting the Atlas couldn’t be easier. The knob on the back adjusts the height and the knob on the top adjusts the depth. Just loosen the knobs and slide the metal framing to adjust and then tighten the knobs to lock.
2. The tilt on the headrest itself is just held in place by friction, so whatever position is comfortable for you is best.
