My corgi suffers from paralysis due to degenerative myelopathy DM, so I made an easy assist sling out of a free tote bag. The quick version requires no sewing and takes about 2 minutes. If you want to get fancy you can hem and finish with a fleece panel. I found this solution cheap, quick, lightweight and sufficiently durable for use around the house. Hope it’s helpful for others with handicapped pets.
