Syntheri Rocks is situated right inside the Kali Tiger Reserve (earlier known as Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary). Sight seeing tours are arranged from Dandeli from where you can hire a cab or drive your vehicle to the site. One has to take forest entry permit by paying entry fees for tourists and the vehicle at the forest entry gate. One has to climb down app 200-250 stairs from the car park to the site. Specimens of different type of rocks of geologic importance are displayed on the side of the stair pathway that leads to the syntheri rock site. Definitely a difference kind of spot which will intrigue ppl having interests in geology and science.

Must visit place in Dandeli tourism, situated in Gund village, core of Kali Tiger Reserve area.
It's 300 ft monolithic Rock below that Kaaneri River had made a small fall.
Swimming or getting in to the water is not allowed here.
