What do I think of this Chinese version? I think it's much lighter and I love that. It doesn't sound as good as my Indonesian made IBG Hummingbird, but it does sound good. Is it worth the money? Well, that's your call. I'd say you're going to spend around $900 USD, then perhaps as much as another $100 to $200 to get it right. Once you do, I think you'll likely love it. All solid woods, just like the Indonesian counterpart, but as is the case with many guitars coming from that region of the world, they just can't seem to get their act together when it comes to quality control and setup. Sometimes I wonder if QC stands for, Quit Checking. Sometimes it's fine, but it's not typical. Yes, that's my opinion and I do realize many may not feel that way. That said, let's not hold it against each other :).
