Mahapurusa Sri Ananta Das is also known as Sishu Ananta Das. He was born in Balipatna in 1488. He was able to change his form at will. Usually he would take the form of a little child, hence his name as Sishu. His disciples were Barang Das, Hamsa Das, and Sisu Das. Shishu Ananta Das has written many devotional literatures. Sishu Ananta Das was talking of the Bhakti or Pure devotion towards The Lord. He asked his devotees to submit their mind and soul to God. Sishu Ananta Das was intiatiated spiritually from Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Sisu Ananta Das resided in Khandagiri for his spiritual practices.
