Stand By Me by Longcreek. Originally by Ben E. King, also by Mickey Gilley on Urban Cowboy. It's just a good old classic song, no matter who did it. We knocked out a version here with no warning. Cliff dropped it on us unexpectedly, (Listen at the very end, when he says something about it) but it turned out pretty good, I think! The first few notes I played , I didn't know what song we were about to do. When Cliff sang the first couple of words was when I realized what song it was. We've played it before, but it's been a long time. I'm surprised it turned out this well. It's fun when that happens!
