1. Select the Insert tab
2. It displays 'Insert Picture' dialog box
3. Select the Picture from file
4. Click the insert the picture
5. Select the picture that you want to add and format
6. Click the Format tab
7. The format tab offers you various options for formatting pictures like contrast, changing color, line style, cropping, change the size, etc
8. Again select the Insert tab
9. Select and click the text box to add the text in the slide view
10. Select the home tab where you can format the text like bold, change the color, etc.
