My friend Nick and I took a day to drive to Hot Springs, NC to visit the Hot Springs Resort and Spa and check out the curative mineral waters for ourselves. Folks have been doing just the same since 1778. The history of this area is incredible. Three hotels burned to the ground and the property was also the site of a German Internment Camp during WW1. The current Resort and Spa has been operating since 1990 and the neat thing about the location is that the remains of the former bathhouse and other structures have been left undisturbed on the property--so this video takes on a bit of an abandoned exploration as well. Will the hot mineral waters be good for what ails us? Watch the video and find out!
